Care
Shake the sand out, rinse off salt with fresh water and dry the blanket fully in the shade, never packing it away wet.

Hold the blanket by the upwind edge and let the breeze open it out over the sand.

Fill the pockets
Scoop a handful of sand into each corner pocket so the edges stay down.

Shake and fold
Empty the pockets, shake the sand off downwind and fold it back into its pouch.
