From far down the beach the Warp print reads as a checkerboard bulging out of the fabric, as if a beach ball were pushing through. Four poles, three printed panels, 420 cm long: set it on the side the wind comes from and your camp gets a sheltered side.

Same print, same camp.

Pitching it

  1. 1

    Read the wind

Stand with your back to the wind: the windbreak goes on that side of your camp.

  2. 2

    Unroll and push in

Unroll it along the sand and push the first pole in deep, then walk along and push in the others, keeping the fabric taut.

  3. 3

    Curve it round

Set it in a gentle curve around the blanket. In loose dry sand, push the poles in deeper.
