What you get

  • Springs open out of its carry bag; 200 × 120 × 115 cm
  • Open front with a roll-down door panel
  • Sand flaps on three sides to hold it down with sand
  • Back mesh window; fits two, packs to a Ø 72 cm disc

Materials

Printed woven fabric in the Helios print; sectioned poles or sprung frame as described; peg loops and sand flaps.

Care

Shake the sand out, rinse off any salt with fresh water, dry it fully in the shade before packing, and never pack it away wet.

Pitching it

    Back to the wind

    Find where the wind comes from and turn the closed back of the tent or shade towards it.

  2. 2

    Open and stand it up

    Pop-ups spring open out of the bag; pole tents and shades take their poles first.

  3. 3

    Weigh it down

    Peg every loop, pile sand on the flaps or fill the corner pockets, and tension the guy lines. Pack it away when the wind picks up.
