Cookie Policy
The cookies veylissee.shop uses: only the ones the shop needs to work.
This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on veylissee.shop. We only use those that are strictly necessary for the shop to work. We do not use advertising, analytics or social media tracking cookies, so we do not ask for your consent to them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. They let the shop remember, for example, what is in your cart while you browse, or which currency to show you prices in.
Cookies we use
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| wp_woocommerce_session_* | veylissee.shop | Keeps your cart, your chosen delivery country and the currency you see while you shop | 2 days |
| woocommerce_items_in_cart, woocommerce_cart_hash | veylissee.shop | Tell the shop whether your cart has changed | Session |
| vy_lang | veylissee.shop | Remembers the language you chose | 1 year |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie | veylissee.shop | Keep you signed in to your account and protect it | Session, or 14 days if you choose “Remember me” |
| Cache variation cookie | veylissee.shop | Makes sure you see the right version of a page (for example with items in your cart) and not a cached copy | Session |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during card payment | 1 year / 30 minutes |
| PayPal cookies | PayPal | Security and fraud prevention when you pay with PayPal (only when PayPal is offered and used) | Set by PayPal |
| vy_cookie_ok (local storage) | veylissee.shop | Remembers that you have closed the cookie notice | Until you clear your browser data |
All of the above are strictly necessary: without them the cart, the currency you are shown and the checkout cannot work. That is why none of them require your consent.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, the cart and checkout will not work.
