About VEYLISSEE
One camp, one print
It started with a windbreak printed with a sunflower. Now every VEYLISSEE piece comes in one of six op-art prints, so a whole camp matches and is easy to find on a busy beach.

It started with a single windbreak. We printed it with a sunflower op-art pattern — petals spinning out in vibrating rings, orange and mustard on cream — and the thing we noticed first on the beach was how far away you could still pick it out. Standing at the car park with the bags, it was the one bright, unmistakable square in a long line of everything else.
Then we made a tent to match it. Then a blanket, then a few flags, and the idea settled into something simple: one pattern for a whole camp. Today everything we make — beach tents and shades, windbreaks, beach blankets, peg and sandbag kits and camp flags — is printed with one of six original op-art prints, so a camp matches from the sand up, and you can spot your own from far down a crowded beach.
One print per camp
Each of the six prints comes in three colourways: Marigold (orange and mustard on cream), Lagoon (teal and mustard on cream) and Night Swim (cream, orange and mustard on deep teal). Helios is the sunflower we began with, petals in vibrating rings. Ripple is rings set off-centre, like a stone just landed. Swell rolls along in three-colour wave stripes. Warp is a checkerboard bulging out towards you. Bloom lays a whole field of small sunflowers over diagonal stripes. Spiral twists out in sun rays.
Keeping to one print does a few quiet jobs. After a swim, you stand up and find your pitch by pattern instead of counting umbrellas. Children can find their way back to the right blanket from the waterline. And the pieces read as one camp rather than a pile of borrowed kit. You can start with a windbreak and add a tent, a blanket or flags in the same print, in the colourway you chose, and the whole thing still looks like it belongs together.
What we tell you on every product page
Every product page carries the same handful of facts, because guessing at the beach is miserable. You will find the size set up and the size packed away, how many people a tent or shade is meant for, a photograph of it next to an adult so you can judge the height, a drawing to scale, and how it pegs down — which pegs, sandbags or guy lines come with it and where they go. Towels, hats, loungers and books in our photographs are there to set the scene and are not included.
We are just as plain about what we do not claim. There is no sun protection rating on our pages, no wind rating, and we do not call anything waterproof or water-resistant. Our tents and shades are for daytime shade on the beach, not for overnight camping, and everything should come down in strong wind. Everything is printed on woven fabric, and where a claim is not ours to make we leave it off the page rather than dress it up.
